Speaking of Feathers...

Look what I got for Mother's Day.
Hubs surprised me with an orange juju hat, exactly what I wanted.
I may start using this blog for evil purposes {subliminal advertising} to create my dream wish list.
So far so good.
There's been recent talk of a fall trip to London to attend an Abigail Ahern masterclass.
We'll see what the future holds.

I Heart You, Lonny

Checking my email today much to my delight, I find a new Lonny to devour.
I love Lonny and the interiors they showcase.
I can't wait to get kids to bed and relax with hooves up and laptop situated
for stimulus overload.

Coffee Bar

There's a small niche in my kitchen between the ovens and refrigerator.
I thought it would be perfect for a coffee bar.  I did have cookbooks and picture frames there,
but I like this better.
Still need to frame peacock print.

Mexico

Its been a struggle to get back in the swing of things after Mexico.
I forgot how relaxing it is not to have kids.
There's no need for a watch, and happy hour starts much earlier.

Cabo knows how to set an atmosphere.
Every market had colorful banners or ornaments hanging from the ceiling,
and restaurants were lit up with hanging lights covered in woven baskets.
Mexican blankets were draped over the backs of chairs for relief from cool evenings.

The sun, the sand, the gulf, the cocktails,
the company and laughter of great friends...good times were had by all.

Fashion and interior design go hand in hand.
They trend together and spark inspiration off one another. I am always inspired by fashion,
but rarely on the streets of my suburban bubble.
I find my fix at The Sartorialist.
Scott Schuman photographs street style--regular folk going about their day.
I can waste away a day getting lost in his photographs.
